Education City Golf Club, in Qatar, comprises three golf courses – an 18-hole championship golf course, a 6-hole championship and a floodlit 9-hole, par-3 course all designed by José María Olazábal, with fairways, greens, tees and rough built to USGA specification. The 18-hole championship course takes you through the desert and wadi terrain of Qatar. Olazábal has purposely led the first few holes of the golf course to an ancient wadi wall, allowing its charm and beauty to set the tone for your whole round. The 6 hole course is a full-length championship course and consists of one par-5, two par-3’s and three par-4’s, with seven tee box locations to suit a range of abilities from professional to children.

The 6-hole course is the realisation of Education City Golf Club to not only attract newcomers to take up the game, but also offer the experience of playing a beautifully manicured championship course in less than 90 minutes. The 9-hole par-3 course is designed to allow golfers of all abilities to experience the fun of the game, day or night. The varied short holes create a fun and family-friendly opportunity to test your golf skills. As a more experienced golfer looking to sharpen your short game, the course offers you a selection of different tee positions and subtly undulating greens.
