Royal Golf Club

Riffa, Bahrain

Nestled in the very core of Bahrain lies the magnificent Royal Golf Club, a veritable masterpiece that takes pride of place in Riffa Views. Standing as the majestic sanctuary for the prestigious DP World Tour (Bahrain Championship) hosted under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Remarkably, it is merely a short 20-minute journey from Manama, as well as an equidistant distance from the beloved Saudi-Bahrain causeway.

The Club offers the best of both worlds; exclusive membership options are available while visitors are also very welcome. The club’s 7,102-yard par 72 18-hole championship course was designed by golfing legend Colin Montgomerie as was the Wee Monty 9-hole, par 3 course. Additional facilities at the stunning Royal Golf Club include a state-of-the art golf academy, two well-equipped meeting rooms, a fully stocked golf and leisure shop, a purpose-built function room, an award-winning international restaurant, family-friendly pizzeria and a café.

The adjoining Royal Country Club boasts a temperature-controlled outdoor swimming pool and multi-purpose sports court set in beautifully landscaped gardens as well as a fitness studio and separate ladies and gents gyms, saunas and steam rooms indoors. With state-of-the-art floodlights installed on the back 9 holes of the Montgomerie course and across the whole of the Wee Monty Par 3 course, savour playing a relaxing round of golf in the cool of the evening, after a hard day’s work.
