Carved into the Andalusian hillside with natural vistas in every direction, La Reserva Club hosted the European Tour’s NH Collection Open in 2014, and has become a firm favourite with golfers worldwide and is considered a must-play for any golfer visiting the area.
Highlighted by generous, sweeping fairways and large, undulating greens, La Reserva Club is always in exceptional condition and will test every aspect of even the most accomplished golfer’s game. The opening hole is as picturesque as any in Europe, with an elevated tee overlooking a wide fairway that doglegs sharply to the left, with a stream short of the green awaiting any poorly struck approaches. Water features on no less than seven holes, most noticeably all the way along the left of the signature par-4, 8th hole, while elevation changes across the Costa del Sol valleys place a particular emphasis on club selection throughout the round.
La Reserva Club features a set of iconic and varied par-3s which offer a distinctly different challenge depending on which tees you play from. The 18th winds its way up to the stunning clubhouse which offers spectacular views of both the Mediterranean Sea and mountains of La Gran Reserva, as well as contemporary Andalusian cuisine in L’Olive Restaurant.
