Heritage Resorts & Golf unveils European Ryder Cup Star Nicolas Colsaerts as newest brand ambassador

Heritage Resorts & Golf is proud to announce European Ryder Cup star Nicolas Colsaerts as its newest brand ambassador, joining a world-class team representing the Indian Ocean’s leading luxury golf destination.

A three-time DP World Tour winner and member of Europe’s unforgettable 2012 Ryder Cup victory, Colsaerts brings global recognition and golfing prestige to Heritage Resorts & Golf – home to La Réserve Golf Links, the first and only contemporary links course in the Indian Ocean, and Le Château Golf Course, consistently ranked the region’s best.

On his appointment, Colsaerts said: “Heritage Resorts & Golf combines pure golfing drama, natural beauty and five-star hospitality, not to mention a bucket-list golf experience in La Réserve Golf Links. It is contemporary links golf at its finest, and a truly unique experience that I can’t wait to help more golfers discover.”

The new partnership reflects a shared passion for the game, the lifestyle it inspires, and a commitment to sustainability, which lies at the heart of the Heritage vision. This collaboration also strengthens Heritage Resorts & Golf’s position as a global ambassador for responsible golf tourism.

In 2024, La Réserve Golf Links became the first course in the African region to earn GEO Certified Development status, which recognises developments that exemplify sustainability through fostering nature and enhancing local ecosystems, conserving resources and supporting their communities. Colsaerts joins fellow ambassador and close friend Marcel Siem in representing Heritage Resorts’ award-winning golf offering. Together they aim to elevate Heritage Golf Club and La Réserve Golf Links’ global reputation, firmly reinforcing its status as a world class destination.

Raoul Maurel, Chief Operations Officer at Heritage Resorts & Golf, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Nicolas into the Heritage family. His experience, charisma and love for the game align perfectly with our vision to offer world-class golf in one of the world’s most breathtaking settings.”

Heritage Golf Club continues to grow as a must-visit golf destination, offering two championship courses, an award-winning clubhouse designed by French architects Perrot and Richard, and a full calendar of global golf events, including the 2025 Afrasia Bank Mauritius Open, where both Nicolas and Marcel will be competing on the DP World Tour.
