Equipped with gloves and bin bags, staff from the DP World Tour’s Middle East office teamed up with colleagues from Dubai Creek Resort last week for their quarterly clean-up, supporting the Clean Up Our World initiative. As Dubai Creek Resort gears up to host defending champion Tommy Fleetwood and global stars like Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, and Francesco Molinari for the second Dubai Invitational, the team worked hard to ensure the venue’s natural surroundings reflect the high calibre golf on display.
Volunteers covered the scenic shoreline stretching between the Floating Bridge and Garhoud Bridge, collaboratively enhancing the beauty of Dubai Creek and building on previous clean-up efforts. This activity aligns with Golf for Good, the DP World Tour’s commitment to environmental and social sustainability, helping the Tour make a lasting, positive impact wherever it goes.
The Dubai Invitational kicks off the Race to Dubai’s International Swing and is held alongside a three-day Pro-Am team event, with Sunday reserved for professionals only. The bi-annual tournament features 60 professional DP World Tour golfers and 60 amateur participants.
