Water plays a major role, coming in to play on eight holes, specifically the par 5 18th, where it cuts into the fairway and then partially across the green that is situated in front of the majestic Mediterranean style clubhouse.

On March 26, 2011, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club opened its doors in Orihuela Costa, Spain. Conceived around its 18-hole golf course designed by American architect Cabell B.
