Assoufid

Marrakech, Morocco

Assoufid Golf Club in Marrakech is one of Morocco’s finest golf clubs, and offers an exceptional experience for the discerning golfer by delivering high levels of service in a unique, indigenous setting. Built against the backdrop of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, Assoufid’s 18-hole, par-72 golf course winds its way through a unique, and naturally undulating desert landscape that features palm trees, cacti and olive trees. Located just 10km from Marrakech’s Medina – a UNESCO World Heritage site – Assoufid Golf Club provides golfers with an exceptional golfing experience that is excitingly diverse and challenging.

Scottish designer and former European Tour player, Niall Cameron, had the vision to create a desert-style golf course that would look and feel as natural and as integrated into the existing landscape as possible, while maximizing the beautiful views of North Africa’s Atlas Mountains to the south. Designed to complement the golf course, the clubhouse is conveniently located on one of Assoufid’s many hills, overlooking the course and the Atlas Mountains. Open every day, the clubhouse houses the reception desk and features a pro shop, locker rooms with showers, a private members’ lounge and the exclusive, La Colline restaurant which offers a variety of exquisite main dishes, salads and drinks served throughout the day. Assoufid also features a private pavilion – an exclusive facility next to the clubhouse which can host small, private events for up to 15 people.

The golf club is one component of Assoufid, a larger mixed-use, gated development that will spread over 222 hectares and that will include a residential villa community and a hospitality component.
